By ROLLING STONE

The 42nd annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival kicks off today with a typically eclectic lineup featuring Arcade Fire, Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band, the Neville Brothers, Wilco, Jeff Beck and Allen Toussaint, among many others. If you can't make it down this year, you're in luck -- Rolling Stone will be broadcasting performances from the show online on May 7th and 8th.

The high-definition live webcast, which will stream on rollingstone.com beginning at 6 p.m. CST on both days, will mirror the Festival as Jimmy Buffett, Arcade Fire and Wilco will be positioned alongside the Neville Brothers, Irma Thomas and Galactic. The webcast will also include interviews and a trip around the Fair Grounds to give viewers at home a sense of the Jazz Fest's unique character.

  1. About two months ago, my best friend introduced me to Palm Beach broadcasting’s 97.9 WRMF and that has been my # 1 radio station ever since. I’m always locked on 97.9 WRMF for the best variety of 80’s, 90’s and today’s music. Check them out www.wrmf.com.
