When Santigold contributed a new joint to the soundtrack of the HBO show Girls, she called the song, naturally enough, “Girls.” The song will show up on a collection of music from the show, due out next month, and it’s a quick little synth jam built on voice samples, and it features the closest thing to a straight-up rap verse I’ve ever heard from Santi. Listen to it below.

Girls – Volume 1: Music From The HBO Original Series is out 1/8 on HBO/Fueled By Ramen, and it also has older songs from people like Robyn, Belle & Sebastian, and Fleet Foxes. It does not have that “where are you going in those Keds” song, sadly.
