The song was one of four debuted by the synthpop duo of Elly Jackson and producer Ben Langmaid at their show at Brighton Concorde 2 earlier this week (March 28), when they played their first show in almost two years. During the gig, which was the first of three warm-up dates before this year's Coachella festival and saw Jackson joined by a new backing band, they also premiered 'Uptight Downtown', 'Sexoteque' and 'Kiss And Not Tell'.
La Roux released their self-titled debut album in 2009 and, after a lengthy wait, are set to deliver the follow-up later this year. Speaking about the delay to NME earlier this year, Jackson said: "I realised the album I wanted to make would require me being a much better musician than I was. There's been a lot of learning and it's been fun and I didn't want it to stop, basically.
"I'm not one for describing how the songs sound, but to me it sounds great, obviously, or I wouldn't have spent this much time making it," she added.
La Roux are set to play two further shows on their current mini-run of gigs. They will play:
Bristol, The Fleece (April 2)
Coventry, Kasbah (5)
