Pump Up the Jams With NuForce’s Mobile Music Pump

If you’re looking to maximize the volume of the tunes streaming from your mobile device, regular earbuds or over-ear headphones just won’t cut it. What you need is a headphone amplifier like, say, NuForce’s new Mobile Music Pump.

NuForce’s headphone amp uses a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack for input and output, and allows you to adjust gain by either 3X or 5X. This means you can rock the beat at almost painful levels no matter what type of cans you’re sporting.

At a palatable $60, you’re not gonna experience the audiophile nirvana of something like Antelope Audio’s DAC and headphone amp (priced at $1,895) or Schiit’s Lyr headphone amp ($450), but you’ll enjoy a decent boost in MP3 audio levels. NuForce says the result is “distinctly clearer and more natural.” And who doesn’t want that?

You can grab a pair at NuForce’s website.
