Introducing agit8, ONE's celebration of the power of the protest song.

Michael Elliott/President and CEO, ONE

Bob Dylan's "Blowin in the Wind." "Talkin' Bout a Revolution" by Tracy Chapman. Protest songs have helped shape history. They've proven time and again that when people come together and raise their voices, extraordinary things can happen.

So today, just days before the G8 Summit, we're launching one of our biggest projects in years: agit8. Here's a quick look at what you can do:
  • Watch exclusive performances of protest songs from today's top artists – from Ed Sheeran and Amadou & Mariam to Bruce Springsteen and Mumford and Sons.
  • Create share lyrics and photos to celebrate the power of protest music.
  • Listen to celebrity-curated playlists.
And most important of all? Share agit8 with everyone you know and invite them to join our movement fighting poverty. We can end extreme poverty by 2030, but only if we get more voices to join together and urge those in power to finish the job.
