Janelle Monáe was absolutely great on Letterman

Janelle Monáe appeared on Late Show with David Letterman Monday night, where she supported her excellent new album The Electric Lady with a rollicking rendition of “Dance Apocalyptic”. In a performance that lived up to the song’s name, Monáe shimmied all around Letterman’s studio, including on top of his desk, as her band powered through the funky dance track. It was really something to see, and Letterman was certainly impressed, declaring Monáe “the hardest working woman in show business.” Replay the whole thing below.
