In hopes of facilitating a “peace-brokering” between Miley Cyrus and Sinead O’Connor, Amanda Palmer performed a mash-up of the feuding singers’ best-known songs during a recent concert in Dallas. Scroll down to watch the ukulele-wielding Dresden Doll combine Miley’s ‘Wrecking Ball’ and ‘Nothing Compares 2 U,’ originally by Prince.

Cyrus and O’Connor have been butting heads since last week, when the latter penned an open letter to the former warning of the music industry’s attempts to make a “prostitute” of her. The teen pop star responded by tweeting comparisons of O’Connor to Amanda Bynes, who, like the Irish songstress, has battled mental health issues.

“May they see their similarities instead of their differences,” Palmer says in the video below, prefacing her mash-up. She also referred to both singers as “awesome,” refusing to take sides in this, the most epic pop battle of the season (so far).

“If anyone wants to take the audio from this song and make a teeny little video clip of them running toward each other in a field, each with a single tear, it would be amazing,” Palmer added. “That’s my request.”
