Redesigned GarageBand FREE For All Apple iOS 7 Devices

As rumored, Apple today released a major upgrade to it's Garageband app ann announced that it is now free om all devices running iOS 7. GarageBand for Mac has received its biggest update ever with a new look, Sound Library and new features including Drummer and Smart Controls. Additional GarageBand instruments and sounds are available for a one-time in-app purchase of $4.99. DETAILS:

Garageband is part of Apple's iLfe suite of apps, all of which are now free to iOS 7 users.

GarageBand for iOS has been updated to match the look and feel of iOS 7 and taps the power of 64-bit deliver control of up to 32 tracks. With iOS 7 Inter-App Audio users can record third-party music apps right into GarageBand.

AirDrop allows users to wirelessly share songs and projects with other iOS users and work on them together. Apple's Cloud keeps projects up to date across devices, and users can start a song on iOS and pick up where they left off using GarageBand for Mac.

GarageBand willcome free with every new Mac purchase. Existing users running Mavericks can update their apps for free from the Mac App Store. It's also available for free from the App Store for any new device running iOS 7 along with free updates for existing users. GarageBand for Mac and iOS are also free for all OS X Mavericks and iOS 7 users. Additional GarageBand instruments and sounds are available for a one-time in-app purchase of $4.99 for each platform.
