Skrillex debuts new collaboration with Chance the Rapper

Chance the Rapper hops between genres like it’s his job — oh, that’s right, it is. The ambitious emcee has worked with everyone from Jeremih to Justin Bieber to James Blakein recent months; now, he’s teamed up with EDM’s prodigal son Skrillex for a fresh collaboration.

As Pitchfork points out, Skrillex debuted the untitled song during a concert in Brooklyn last night. Presumably it’s a product of his recent studio session with Chance and all-star producer Mike WiLL Made It. In an interview with XXL this month, Skrillex said the trio is “working on projects together… Whether [the music] come out tomorrow or a year from now, there’s definitely a lot of bullets in the chamber… There’s a lot of cool shit in the making right now.”

Whether it’s this Skrillex collaboration or bedroom recordings with James Blake, there definitely seems to be more new music on the way. Last night, Chance advised fans to stay tuned to his website, writing, ”If I was to drop some sort of spontaneous track or mixtape it would be on http://chanceraps.com.” Needless to say, F5 is your best friend today.
