The Rolling Stones and Bruce Springsteen perform “Tumbling Dice”

CHRIS COPLAN/Consequence of Sound

Bruce Springsteen previously joined The Rolling Stones on stage during their December 2012 reunion show in New Jersey. Last night, the stars aligned once more as Springsteen helped the Stones kick off the European leg of their “14 on Fire” tour. Appearing in Lisbon, Portugal, the two rock ‘n’ roll pillars joined forces to perform the Exile on Main St. standout “Tumbling Dice”. Watch fan-shot footage below.

Last night’s show marked only the Stones’ second performance since canceling their Australian tour and taking a brief hiatus following the death of frontman Mick Jagger’s longtime girlfriend, designer L’Wren Scott. Consult their full schedule, including newly rescheduled Australian dates, at their official site.
