Reggie Watts performs on Conan with members of ZZ Top, Coheed and Cambria

BEN KAYE/Consequence of Sound

Between his day job on Comedy Bang! Bang!, opening duties for the likes of Nick Cave, and guest appearances on long-awaited records, Reggie Watts found the time to record a fresh album of his own. Last night, the multi-talented funny man previewed that upcoming release, an LP entitled Scarves & Cabbages, on Conan. No stranger to odd-couple collaborations, Watts brought along ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons and Coheed and Cambria’s Travis Stever for a performance of the delicate ode, “I Once Knew A Horse”. Check the replay below.

Not much is known yet about Scarves & Cabbages, but if the general state of comedy in 2014 is any indication, expect it to be funny as hell. A release date is expected later in the year.
